He is a Professional Engineer (P.E.) in Illinois, Missouri, Kansas, Michigan, Wisconsin, Pennsylvania, Connecticut, Virginia, Maryland, Washington D.C., and Florida.

David has worked on projects across the United States including Illinois, Iowa, Michigan, Wisconsin, Indiana, Missouri, Minnesota, Pennsylvania, Oregon, New Jersey, New Mexico, Idaho, Colorado, Tennessee, Arizona, Utah, and West Virginia. He designed Minnesota’s first haunched steel box girder bridge, Oregon’s first Continuous Deck Bulb Tee Girder Bridge, as well as Iowa’s first stabbed H-pile foundation to support integral abutments. He also acted as Structural Lead for preliminary design of Illinois’s longest integral abutment bridge. In addition, he has also participated in projects in UAE, Canada, Indonesia, and China.

David is an ASCE Fellow and a member of the AREMA Committee 15. He was the co-leader for the Illinois Tollway sub-committee for precast deck panels. He was reporting lead of Illinois’s first precast deck panel bridge with Ultra High Performance Concrete joints.
